Butjani Lodge, an intimate bush lodge situated on a 410ha private Nature Reserve, with a perennial river and wide variety of wildlife and birds. Well situated for day trips to the Rustenberg, Pretoria, and Polokwane matches. Also, being 45 km out of Pretoria, offers a bit of peace and quiet "away from the madding crowd". Your hosts will be Penny, John and Stuart and we look forward to ensuring your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable, situated in the heart of the bush. We have comfortably appointed en-suite double and single accommodation .

Tent accommodation is provided under thatch on a raised deck with outdoor bush shower. Activities include swimming, cycling, bush walks and birding. We are in close proximity to Cullinan, which is the source of the world's largest diamond. There are various mine tours offered. There is also an attractive 9-hole golf course in Cullinan. Check our Special Events and Activities page for specialist weekends on birding, trees, astronomy and other events. Accommodation rates are available upon request. Dinner, bed and breakfast are provided. Lunch can also be provided if requested. Our clear winter skies are perfect for star gazing. Absorb the silence and tranquility of the African bush.
