Situated in the central Garden Route town of George overlooking the lovely Outeniqua mountains, Avocet House offers quality self catering or bed and breakfast accommodation in a quiet area close to the city centre, shops, restaurants, hospitals and famous golf courses. Fancourt Golf Estate is 6 Kms away and George Golf course 1km away. Nearest beach is 12 kms away.The city centre is within walking distance. There is a spacious 2 bedroomed unit ,a smaller 1 bedroomed unit, all en suite, both with fully equipped kitchenettes with a hob ,microwave , fridge and freezer in each. The 2 bedroomed unit is ideal for a party of 4 for self catering. Reasonable rates are offered for a group. Each unit has a private patio with lovely views of the mountain and a pretty garden. There is a Weber Braai available. We sleep a total of 6 people. All linen provided .A limited laundry service is provided and there is plenty of washing line space available. We can help those keen on hiking with wonderful places to hike in our mountains and are happy to assist with advice on beautiful place to travel to in our area, being keen travellers ourselves. Personal service by hosts. A hearty, full breakfast is served

There is a S/C studio with en-suite bathroom, double bed, private entrance and undercover deck and braai facility. There is also a north facing family unit with 2 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, 2 twin beds each and there is a private dining area which leads onto the sundeck and undercove braai area. There is also a very spacious, north facing bedroom looking onto the garden and Outeniqua mountains.It has a sitting area with 2 easy chairs, dressing area, full en-suite bathroom, double bed and threequarter bed.
